Jesse Aweida : Chairman

Jesse Aweida founded Aweida Capital Management in 1988, but his business successes date back more than 30 years. In 1969, he started StorageTek, a data storage company in Boulder, Colo. In just 12 years, he transformed it from zero dollars in revenue into a billion-dollar-a-year business. Aweida was also involved in operating and/or financing several other companies in Colorado, including Aspen Peripherals, Leasetec Corporation, and Avail Systems.

As chairman of the board, Aweida also holds a board position at a number of Aweida portfolio companies including Benchmark Storage Innovations, OneRealm Inc., and Estarcom Inc.

Dan Aweida : Director

Dan Aweida joined Aweida Capital Management as a managing partner in 1991 and currently focuses on software and infrastructure related businesses.

Aweida holds board positions at several of Aweida's portfolio companies including Benchmark Storage Innovations, TurnLeaf Solutions, and OneRealm, Inc. He works individually with these companies to help them grow strategically into profitable investments. Aweida's goal is to support portfolio companies without interfering with their day-to-day operations.

Aweida earned his bachelor's degree in business from the University of Northern Colorado and his M.B.A. in finance from Regis University in Denver, Colo. In 2000, he was a member of the Regis Forum Technology Task Force, a group created to guide the technology curriculum at Regis. The Technology Task Force studied the feasibility of applying the technology that is readily available in the business world to an academic setting.

Darren Sandberg : Director

Darren is a Vice President of Operations at Internet Capital Group.  He is responsible for evaluating new acquisition opportunities, providing strategic and financial advice and monitoring the performance of partner companies.  Darren first joined ICG in 2000.  He left the company in 2003 to become Vice President of Corporate Finance at Broder Bros., Co. and returned to ICG in 2006.

At Broder Bros., a highly leveraged distribution company backed by Bain Capital with approximately $1 billion in revenues, Darren was responsible for planning and strategy, various aspects of financial operations and board and bond holder relations.  Darren began his career at Arthur Andersen LLP, where he spent 10 years, most recently as a senior manager in the Enterprise Practice.  Darren focused on transaction structuring, due diligence, business valuation and audit and accounting services for middle market technology and service companies.  At Arthur Andersen, Darren supervised the diligence on over 50 acquisitions and advised numerous clients on the IPO process.

Doug Alexander : Director

An original member of ICG's advisory board, Doug joined the company full-time in September 1997 as Managing Director. Doug has had many roles at ICG including CEO of WiseWire Technologies, which was successfully sold to Lycos; Chairman of Verticalnet through its IPO; CEO of ICG Europe; and CEO of Mobility Technologies. In addition to these roles, Doug's primary focus at ICG has been to sponsor and oversee investments in several partner companies that have included Blackboard (Nasdaq: BBBB), Verticalnet (Nasdaq:VERT), eMerge Interactive (Nasdaq: EMRG), Arbinet-thexchange (Nasdaq: ARBX), WiseWire (acquired by Lycos), LinkShare (acquired by Rakuten), CreditTrade, StarCite, Mobility Technologies, and Investor Force. Doug currently serves on the boards of LinkShare, Investor Force, CreditTrade, StarCite, ICG Commerce and WhiteFence.

Prior to joining ICG, Doug co-founded Reality Online in 1989. Reality Online was an early innovator in the development of award-winning financial planning tools and online services aimed at the individual investor. With the advent of the Internet, Doug transformed the company into a leading provider of Internet solutions to the retail brokerage industry, and then sold the company to Reuters in February 1994. Over the following 3 years, Doug became a key contributor to Reuters' many Internet initiatives and a frequent speaker on the Internet and its impact on the financial services industry. Prior to co-founding Reality Online, Doug was a partner with Strategic Management Group, a corporate training firm and three-time Inc. 500 company.

Robert S. Wight : Director, President and CEO

Channel Intelligence CEO and co-founder Robert S. Wight, a 2004 finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Florida Award, has overseen the development of the products and services that has made CI a leading e-commerce technology provider. Since its founding in 1999, CI has undergone tremendous growth and now has over 200 manufacturing and retailing customers across every product vertical and every day manages millions of products equaling over $3 billion in product value. In late 2006, Wight secured $15 million in funding from Internet Capital Group (ICG).

Prior to CI, Wight was recognized as one of the 20 most influential people in the storage software business, having held senior positions with a number of key technology corporations including Microsoft, Wang Labs, Avail Systems, Seagate Software, Conner Software Products, Archive Software and Maynard Electronics.
